Margaret H. Padjen, 98, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Woods of Cedar Run in Camp Hill.  She was born on Dec. 28, 1917 in Steelton, a daughter of the late William and Ida (Hoover) Hartz.  Margaret was married for 71 years to the late Samuel Padjen, who died Aug. 29, 2011.

Margaret graduated from Steelton High School.  She enjoyed being a homemaker, taking care of her family and gardening.  Margaret was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Samuel K. (wife, Nancy) Padjen of Mechanicsburg, one daughter, Idana P. (husband, Jim) Beck of Camp Hill, seven grandchildren; Aaron (Cathy) Beck, Amy (Chris) Schweisthal, Andrew J. Padjen, Daniel Beck, Derek (Tiffany) Beck, Nathan (Jennifer) Beck and Devon (Lauren) Beck, 14 great-grandchildren; Christopher and Sophia Schweisthal, Julie, Kate, Abby, Braden, Jason, Kylie, Ava, Harrison, Emily and Edison Beck, Saige and Trent Wilt.  She was predeceased by three brothers; Earl, George and Harry Hartz and two sisters; Della Buser and Helen Hartz.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 followed by the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Pastor Chris Schweisthal officiating.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Memorial donations may be made to Grane Hospice, 4 Lemoyne Dr., Suite 201, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
