Roger L. Conrad, 63, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle.  He was born on Aug. 30, 1952 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late Grant T. and Effie M. (Walker) Conrad.  He was married to the late Joanne S. (Bailey) Conrad, who died March 21, 2013.

Roger retired after 31 years of service with the former Wilcox Forging Co in Mechanicsburg.  Roger enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting.

He is survived by one daughter, Sonia J. Stamy of Newville, two brothers; Richard and Rodney Conrad, both of Carlisle, one sister, Brenda Kuhn of Newville and several nieces and nephews including; Jennie L. Conrad and Isaiah Newhouse.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Donald Snyder officiating.  Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
