Arlene F. Raudabaugh, 77, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.  She was born on January 11, 1939 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late James E. and Ethel (Bixler) Raudabaugh.

She was a 1958 graduate of Carlisle High School.  Arlene was a nurse’s aide for more than 35 years.  She retired from Forest Park Health Center and had previously worked for the Cumberland County Nursing Home.  Arlene was a member of the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church (The Meeting House).  She enjoyed taking care of her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years; Leo J. Raudabaugh, one son, Leo D. “Jake” (wife, Nicole) Raudabaugh of Boiling Springs, one daughter, Debra A. (Robert) Marchese of Carlisle, two brothers; James “Buddy” Raudabaugh and Danny Raudabaugh, both of Carlisle, one sister, Dorothy Steele of Carlisle, six grandchildren; Dawn Bower, Jason Weiss, Cassie Kreiser, Christian Marchese, Reece Raudabaugh and Jaxon Raudabaugh, four great-grandchildren; Madden, Jude and Micah Bower and Ayden and several nieces and nephews.  Arlene was predeceased by one daughter, Denise M. Raudabaugh, who died in 1997.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in The Meeting House, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd, Carlisle, with Pastor Ken Hoke officiating.  Burial will follow in the Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs.  A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 6 - 8:00 p.m.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.  Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts in Arlene’s name may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Rd., #302, Carlisle, PA 17015.

Arlene was a beautiful lady inside and out. She fought this battle with grace. It was always great seeing her at church or the grocery store. I will miss her.
