Paulette L. Mellott, 63, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Green
Ridge Village, Newville. She was born on August 22, 1952 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Donald and
Alice (McCabe) Sheaffer. Paulette had worked for the Claremont Nursing &
Rehab. Center, Carlisle as a CNA for 23 years. Paulette then drove truck for 15 years with Cressler Trucking,
Shippensburg. She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Mellott of Carlisle, one daughter,
Brandy L. (husband, Butch) Mellott- Arnold of Enola, one son, Bill J. Mellott of Newville, two brothers; Charles Sheaffer
of Mechanicsburg and Paul Sheaffer of Carlisle, five sisters; Suzanne McDonough of Parkersburg, WV, Catherine (Leslie) Heller
of Boiling Spring, Claire (William) Booth of Bloserville, Barbara (Charles) Gladfelter of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Rebecca Zimmerman
of Shermans Dale, two grandchildren; Darien and Aden Mellott and many nieces and nephews. Paulette was
predeceased by one brother, Robert Sheaffer.
A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on
Wednesday, January 20, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St,
Carlisle, with Rev. Barbara D. Albert officiating. Burial will be private.

To the family I'm so sorry for your loss, she was my mom's room mate till my mom passed
away, I grew to love her in the short time and continued to visit her after my mom's passing. Prayers are with the family
