C. Ross Kell, 92, of Carlisle, died on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Carlisle Regional
Medical Center. He was born on April 16, 1923 in Carlisle and was a son of the late George I. and Sue (Lyter)
Kell. Ross was a Boiling Springs High School graduate and attended Dickinson
College for one year. He was a member the Carlisle First Church of God and served as an usher for many
years. Ross was a lifelong farmer in the Carlisle area and also retired from the Rite-Aid Corp. in Shiremanstown.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family. He is
survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Reba L. (Garretson) Kell, one son, Larry W. Kell (and his fiancé, Barbara
Barry) of Carlisle, one daughter, Deborah L. (and her husband, Robin) Hare of Harrisburg, two grandchildren; Andrea Martin
and Brian Albert, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother,
George L. Kell. A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 followed
by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Michael Poe
officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.

I graduated from BSHS, just a year ahead of Debbie, I believe. I graduated in 1972. I was Carol Keefer. Reba, we worked
together at J C Penny. May God's peace and comfort be with all of you at this time.

Dear Reba and Family, My deepest sympathies to you, My
heart is heavy, I have known Ross,his folks and late brother George for most of my life. I could write a book of good memories
about them all. Ross will live on in the hearts of those that knew him ..I can still see him in that Yellow Convertible many
