Ronald Lee Dick, 79, of Carlisle, died on Sunday, December
13, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 11, 1936 in Carlisle, and was a son of
the late Oscar F. and Kathryn (Kelley) Dick.
Ron was a 1954 graduate of Carlisle
High School. He owned and operated until his retirement Ronald L. Dick Construction Inc., Carlisle.
He was a member of the VFW Post 477, AmVets 274, Moose Lodge 761 and Eagles Aerie 1299, a life member of Elks Lodge
578 and the White Circle Lodge No. 1, all of Carlisle. He served in the PA National Guard for several years.
Ronny enjoyed attending public sales.
He is survived by his devoted
wife of 39 years, Suzanne (Hummelbaugh) Dick, two daughters; Rhonda D. Newcomer of Carlisle, Karen K. Bailey of Mechanicsburg,
one son, Ronald L. Dick, Jr. of Carlisle, one stepson, W. Robert Shughart, II of Carlisle, one sister, Patrecia Langley of
Carlisle, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nieces. He was predeceased
by one brother, Glenn Eugene Dick. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,
December 17, 2015 in the North Middleton Church of God Cemetery, Waggoners Gap Rd., Carlisle, with Rev. Richard Reese officiating.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions
