
Warren Neal Thomas, 75, of Carlisle, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at home.
He was born on December 3, 1939 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late William B. and Hazel M. (Runion) Thomas.
He was married to the late Jane A. (Russell) Thomas, who died Oct. 21, 2007 and Doris J. (Negley) Thomas, who died
June 22, 1991. Warren served in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He
retired from Frog Switch Manufacturing in Carlisle after 32 years of service. He is
survived by one son, William Scott Thomas of Shermansdale, one daughter, Crystal L. (husband, Ron) Killian of Mechanicsburg,
two granddaughters; Katelyn and Kailey Killian, both of Mechanicsburg, three step-daughters; Christina Bitner, Julia Newsome
and Marian Welsh and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Sylvester “Pete”
Thomas, two sisters; Anna Mary Miller and Elizabeth Sheriff and one step-daughter, Deborah Gossert. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens,
1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, with Chaplain Bob Wertz, Carlisle Fire Police-Cumberland County officiating. Military
honors will be conducted by the Cumberland County Honor Guard. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is
in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes
Association.
