
Dotty Nell Price, 56, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, November 10,
2015 at her home. She was born on March 10, 1959 in Ozark, Alabama, and is the daughter of Virginia B.
(Lawhead) Carroll of Carlisle and the late Colonel (Ret) Anthony Carroll, US Army. She
was a 1977 graduate of the Reid Ross High School in Fayetteville, NC. Dotty had worked as the food and
beverage director for Hotel Carlisle for eight years and prior to that with the former Holiday Inn, Carlisle.
Dotty loved the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and collecting antiques. In addition
to her Mother, she is survived by one son, Emmett W. (wife, Deanna) Price, II of Mechanicsburg, one daughter, Samantha M.
(fiancé, Richard Long) Price of Carlisle, one sister, Deborah Cline of Dillon, CO, one brother, Danny (wife, Karen)
Carroll of Newville, two granddaughters; Rylee and Makayla, two grandsons; Gage and Kane and many nieces and nephews including
her niece, Jennifer Bullock of Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00
a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Don Bender
officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will
be private. Memorial donations in Dotty’s name may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 152 E.
Pomfret St., Carlisle, PA 17013.

I am so sorry about Dotty's passing. I remember Dotty as being the most energetic and happy teenager.
My heart goes out to Ginny, Danny, and her children and grandchildren.
