

C. Price Oyler, 92, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 28,
2015 at his home. He was born on August 20, 1923 in Gettysburg, a son of the late Carl E. Oyler, Sr. and
Myrtle (Strickhouser) Oyler, and was married to the late Jean (Kuhn) Oyler, who died on Jan. 23, 2013. Price
graduated from Gettysburg High School and after serving in the Navy during WWII, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from
Gettysburg College. He retired from the Federal Office of Investigations in Harrisburg after many years
of service as an investigator. Price formerly enjoyed hunting. He is
survived by one brother, Frederic A. (wife, Nadine) Oyler of Biglerville and several nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by one brother, Carl E. Oyler, Jr. and one sister, Doris P. Oyler. A viewing
will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral
Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Susan McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland
