Dolores M. Martin, 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, October 25,
2015 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on Feb. 22, 1939 in Carlisle,
the daughter of the late William Woods and Helen (Martin) Woods Kitzmiller. She was the widow of William
H. Martin, who died June 28, 2013. Dolores retired after many years of service with the
former Kinney Shoe Corporation, Carlisle.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy
M. (husband, Jim) Murtorff of Harrisburg, three grandchildren; Adrienne (husband, Jim) Burge, Zachary (wife, Amanda) Deitch
and Jordan (wife, Dawn) Deitch and five great-grandchildren. A time to celebrate the lives
of Dolores and her late husband William will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the West Pennsboro
Volunteer Fire Co., 20 Park Rd., Plainfield, PA 17081. Interment will be private. Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Castaway
