James M. Morrison, 86, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, October
5, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on July 2, 1929 near Newville, a
son of the late Cirus James Morrison and Almedia (Mayberry) Morrison.
Jim served in the US Army during the Korean
War. He retired from the former C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle, after many years of service.
He is survived
by his wife of 52 years, Ruth A. (Boyles) Morrison, two daughters; Jamie M. DePalma and Candace L. Weller and other extended
family members.
Friends and family are welcome to stop by to share stories and memories on Sunday, October 18,
2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs. Ewing Brothers
Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
