We were Mary's neighbors in Carlisle for 9 years. After Jims death Mary and I became really close friends. We would meet in our yards when mowing our lawns on our tractors and share recipes and stories of what was going on in the neighborhood. After my husband and I moved away Mary continued to write me regularly every couple of months. I totally enjoyed her letters and she said she loved hearing from me. I truly loved Mary and will miss her so much.
