Raymond H. Heishman, 90, of Carlisle, died on Thursday,
July 2, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 25, 1924 in Carlisle, a son of the
late Robert A. and Minnie (Whetzel) Heishman and was married to the late Dorothy E. (Jumper) Heishman, who died on July 29,
2006. Raymond retired in 1989 from the former C. H. Masland
& Sons, Carlisle after more than 30 years of service. Raymond was also a farmer. He
was a member of the West Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, cutting firewood and spending
time with his family. He is survived by three sons; David E. (wife, Lori)
Heishman, Mark E. Heishman and Steven E. (wife, Karen) Heishman, three daughters; Georgianna H. (husband, Emerson) Boyer,
Barbara K. (husband, Edward) Barrick and Julia M. (husband, Edward) Walters, all of Carlisle, one brother, Stewart Heishman
of Carlisle, 15 grandchildren; Randy Heishman, Jennifer Ferrante, James Heishman, Jodie Heishman, Kristi Lightner, Timothy
Heishman, Kyle Heishman, Erika Heishman, Brian Boyer, Benjamin Boyer, Justin Barrick, Jeremy Barrick, Candee Barrick, Bradley
Walters and Michelle Lininger, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased
by one son, Kenneth E. Heishman, one daughter, Carol A. Heishman, one brother, Ervin Heishman and two sisters; Mildred Kelley
and Pauline Shampine. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9,
2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating.
Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the West Hill United Methodist

sorry to hear about Uncle Raymond. All of you will have fond memories of growing up in your big happy family with two wonderful
parents. I even have fond memories of visiting on Sundays when we were kids. Such good times!
