

Marlin L. Hurley, 73, of Carlisle, died Sunday,
April 19, 2015 at Johns-Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was born January 18, 1942 in Plainfield,
a son of the late Edgar D. and Martha A. (Stump) Hurley. Marlin
was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired after 26 years of service with the former AMP,
Inc., Carlisle. Marlin was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship, Carlisle and the American Legion
Post 674 in Mt. Holly Springs. He is survived by his devoted wife
of 45 years, Genevie R. (Derrick) Hurley, two sons; Kevin L. (Shannon) Hurley of Gardners and Chad B. Hurley of Camp Hill,
one sister, June Brown of Mt. Holly Springs, four granddaughters; Lindsay N. Anthony, Colleen D. Hurley, Brooklyn N. Hurley
and Briana M. Hurley, one great-granddaughter, Aubree S. Weary and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by one brother, Ray D. Hurley and one sister, Shirley Myers. Funeral
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 in the Community Christian Fellowship, 360 York Rd., Carlisle,
with Pastor Alan Myers officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23,
2015 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St. Carlisle and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at
the church. Interment with military honors by Cumberland County Honor Guard will be in Cumberland Valley
Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial donations may be made to Community Christian Fellowship.
