 MSGT (Ret) Glenn A. P. Raup, PA Air National Guard,
71, of Carlisle, passed away on April 15, 2015 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on April
9, 1944 in Bellefonte, a son of the late Donald G. and Doris (Kennedy) Raup. Glenn was a 1962 graduate of State College Area High School. He also attended Williamsport Technical
School and the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Institute in Daytona, FL. Glenn retired from the Commonwealth
of PA after 35 years of service and also retired as a Master Sergeant after 26 years of service with the PA Air National Guard.
Glenn had worked nine years at Penn State University, where he was an aircraft mechanic, and retired from the PA Department
of Transportation Bureau of Aviation. He was of Lutheran faith. Glenn was an avid and
skilled hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Hoot Owl Hunting
Club and P.A.M.A. Glenn also served on the Aviation Board at Penn College in Williamsport. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Annette L. (Lightner) Raup, one son, Christopher A. (wife, Jennifer) Raup of
Carlisle, one daughter, Lisa M. (husband, Fredrik) Svard of Stockholm, Sweden, one brother, Carl (wife, Lana) Raup of State
College, two grandchildren; Avery and Ella Svard, one niece, Stacey Saratelli and one nephew, Alex Raup. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown
