
Ann Leona Teter, 69, of Carlisle, died on Monday,
March 9, 2015, at West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. She was born on Nov. 14, 1945, in Pottsville, a daughter
of the late Leo and Mary (Holohan) Martin.
Leona was a 1963
graduate of the Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville. She retired from the Carlisle Area School District
after 32 years of service, where she was the office manager for Instructional Materials Center (IMC) and also the substitute
teacher coordinator. Leona had also worked for PennDot, Cumberland Valley School District and Dickinson
College. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Garry L. Teter, Sr., two sons; Garry L. Teter, Jr. and his wife
Danielle of Chambersburg and Matthew W. Teter of Middletown, CT and three granddaughters; Jessica and Alyssa Teter, both of
Carlisle and Kylee Teter of Chambersburg.
A Memorial Mass will
be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle, with
Rev. William C. Forrey as the celebrant. Interment will be private. Memorial donations
in Leona’s name may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 152 E. Pomfret St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
