Alda Irene (Breon) Dickman, 86, of Carlisle and formerly of Rebersburg, PA, died on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Chapel Pointe Health Center, Carlisle.  She was born on April 24, 1928, in Millheim, Centre County, PA. Alda was a Registered Nurse and Mother of three boys. She retired from nursing in 1980 from Virginia Beach General Hospital, where she was a night nurse supervisor.

Alda was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Bernard Dickman. She is survived by three sons; Dale (Teresa) of Houston, TX, Bruce of Virginia Beach and Clifford (Patricia) of Carlisle, one brother, Richard (Scheryl) Weber of Pleasant Gap, PA, one sister-in-law, Donna Mae Weber of Millheim, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will held on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mary Queen of Peace Chapel on Carlisle Barracks. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, assisted the family with the arrangements.
