Julia A. Mullane of Carlisle, passed on Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.  She was born in Davenport, Iowa on June 17, 1923.

She graduated from Union Endicott High School in Endicott, NY and attended Syracuse University. During WW II, she served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Julia retired from Avis Car Rental in Matawan, NJ in 1986 as the Supervisor of the Computer Program. She was a member of St Patrick Church in Carlisle, Atlantic Shore WAVES Unit 66, past member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) serving as Vice Chairman of the Daytona Beach, FL Unit as well as National Women’s Business Owners (WBO) Coordinator for the Southeastern U.S. She was a volunteer with the St Vincent de Paul Society and Veterans Clinic. She was the widow of Daniel P. Mullane, who passed in September, 2014.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Mullane of Claverack, NY, son, Patrick and his wife Barbara Larsen of Carlisle, daughter, Kate Drew and her husband John of Palo Verde, AZ, son, Michael and his wife Susan of Miami, FL, seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

Services and burial will be private in Long Island National Cemetery, Long Island, NY.  Donations in her memory be made to the Vincent de Paul Society.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
