
Donald L. Eichelberger, 78, of Carlisle, died Friday, January
30, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle. He was born September 6, 1936, in Chambersburg, a son
of the late Norman L. and Pauline (Myers) Eichelberger.
Don was a
retiree of the former C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle, where he had worked for many years. He was a
member of the Family Worship Center in New Kingstown.
He is survived
by his devoted wife of 50 years, Doris M. (Dittenhafer) Eichelberger, five sons; Ronnie L. (wife, Shelley) of Carlisle, Michael
E. (wife, Landi) of Harrisburg, Barry L. of Carlisle, Keith A. (wife, Joann) of Carlisle and Bryan K. (wife, Dee) Eichelberger
of Carlisle, two brothers; David and Ray, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. in
the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Gary Zigner officiating. A visitation
will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. The family kindly requests memorial
contributions to be made to the Doubling Gap Center-Camp Yolijwa, 1550 Doubling Gap Rd., Newville, PA 17241 or to Celtic Hospice,
900 Century Dr., Ste. 201, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
