We're never really ready when a close friend leaves this world.
There's always so much left to say.
We catch ourselves recalling little moments that we shared
and smile at each "remember when."
We're never really ready when it's time to say good-bye,
but slowly we accept what has to be, letting go of what we
must........but keeping those special friends close to us in memory.

Mike was attending Southeastern Louisiana College in the early nineteen sixties, when my wife and I were also attending. We knew Mike in high school, but at school that year we invited Mike to dinner a few times and had a lot of fun. Good memories, both then, and back in high school. He was a fun guy, and always had a ready smile and positive things to say. He will be missed by all who knew him.
