Pauline Gilpin Williams, 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.  She was a resident at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.  Born May 23, 1922, in Richford, Vermont, a daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel (Greenleaf) Gilpin and was the widow of Rev. John E. Williams.

She graduated from Richford High School and Simmons College in Boston.  Pauline completed the LPN course at New Hampshire Vo-Tech and was Director of Homestead, a retirement home in Woodstock, VT.  She was a member of Cornerstone Alliance Church and the ECW of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Asheville, NC.  Pauline had lived in Richmond, VA, Princeton, WV, Frederick, MD, Poolesville, MD, Hartland Four Corners, VT, Fredericksburg, VA, Ashville, NC and Plymouth, NH.

She is survived by sons; Rev. David G. Williams of Carlisle, Stephen G. Williams of Woodstock, VT, John E. Williams of Ashville, NC and Christopher N. Greenleaf of Honolulu, HI, seven grandchildren, three daughters-in-law and eight great-grandchildren.  Pauline was predeceased by two brothers; Roger W. Gilpin and Richard G. Gilpin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, MD.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.
