Donald Leslie Stickel, 76, of Carlisle,
passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle. Born February 2, 1938 in
Carlisle, he was a son of the late Harlan and Hazel (Myers) Stickel.
He was a 1957 graduate of Carlisle High School
and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been employed by Krueger Dairy, Irwin’s Dairy, Gold Seal Ice Cream, AMP Inc. and
Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Surviving is a niece, Krista Andrews Uplinger and her husband, Randal,
and a brother-in-law, John Andrews, all of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by a brother, William, a sister, Betty Andrews, as well as a niece, Cynthia Andrews. Graveside services will
be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle, with Chaplain Bradley
V. Moore officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Waggoner’s United Methodist Church, Future Fund, 1271 Longs Gap
Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013.
