Bernard L. Dickman, 88, of
Carlisle, formerly of Rebersburg, PA, died Saturday, 20 September 2014. Born 27 June
1926 in Altoona, PA, Bernard was a veteran of World War II, serving 20 years in the United States Army, retiring in 1964.
He had a second career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Surviving are
his wife of 66 years, Alda (Breon) Dickman and three sons, Dale (and wife Teresa) of Houston, TX; Bruce (Marcia)
of Elizabeth City, NC; Clifford (Patricia) of Carlisle; one brother, Ronnie of Altoona, PA; seven grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 11am on Tuesday,
23 September 2014 at Chapel Pointe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Veterans organization.
