Patrick A. Hefflefinger, 23, of Mechanicsburg, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Monroe Twp.  He was born on March 9, 1991, in Carlisle, a son of Donald G. (wife, Ronya Eby) Hefflefinger, III of Mechanicsburg and Melissa (Richwine) Moore of West Virginia.

Patrick was a 2009 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School.  Patrick enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters; Danyel (husband, Joseph) Arnold of Newville and Courtney Hefflefinger at home, one step-sister, Rachel Eby of Boiling Springs, paternal grandparents; Donald G. and Judy (Bailey) Hefflefinger, Jr. of New Bloomfield, three half-brothers; Jon, Joseph and James Bruce, his girlfriend, Megan Swick of New Cumberland and three nieces.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover Str., Carlisle.  Pastor Linda Lambert will have prayers at 2 p.m.  Immediately following the viewing and prayers, a time of fellowship and remembrance will be held at the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2080 Linglestown Rd., Suite 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
