

Kenneth S. Barnhart, Jr., 69, of Carlisle, died Tuesday,
June 10, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 9, 1945, in Carlisle, a son of
the late Kenneth S. Barnhart, Sr. and Goldie C. (Crist) Barnhart. Mr. Barnhart retired in 2012 after 50 years of service with Vectron International. He was an avid
sportsman who loved saltwater fishing, NASCAR, and the Detroit Tigers. He was a member of the Eagles and
the White Circle Club of Carlisle. He served and was honorably discharged from the National Guard. Surviving are two brothers; Edward L. (Janet) Barnhart, Sr. of York and Terry L. (Sue) Barnhart of Carlisle, one
sister, Ann L. (David) Owings of Carlisle, one half-sister, Brenda (Michael) Stirling of Carlisle, numerous nieces, nephews,
great nieces and great nephews and his beloved cats, Buddy and Boots. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by a brother, Ronald L. Barnhart and a sister, Ruby G. Bobb. A viewing will begin at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at
1 p.m., on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating.
Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
