
Martin E. Greenland, 66, of Plainfield, passed to eternal
life on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 11, 1947,
in Mapleton Depot, a son of the late Earl Greenland and Catherine A. (Roland) Greenland Wilson. Martin retired from the former Super Rite Foods, Harrisburg after more than 25 years of service.
He was a big rig truck driver for 47 years. Martin loved his dogs. He also arranged
the reunions of the former Super Rite Foods truck drivers and was president of the Roland family reunions. He
was a member of the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota. He
is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Emily R. (Radomes) Greenland, one brother, Kevin E. Wilson, Sr. of
Carlisle, one sister, Karla A. Henry of Enola and many nieces and nephews. Martin was predeceased by one
brother, Ben A. Wilson. Funeral services will
be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with
Pastor Don Watkins officiating. A viewing will be on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of services.
Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019
Mumma Rd., Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
