
Brad William Porter, 38, of Carlisle,
passed to eternal life and went to meet his Lord, his grandma Rosey and his grandma Hull on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at the M.
S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 7, 1975, in Carlisle, and is a son of Stewart H. Porter,
Jr and Shirley (Sweeney) Porter of Carlisle.
Brad
was a 1994 graduate of Big Spring High School and earned an associate degree from H. A. C. C. Brad was
formerly employed for many years with Arnold Logistics and most recently with Kuehne-Nagle, Inc., both of Carlisle.
He was a customer service representative. Brad loved his dogs, music and dance. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, Chris Robinson of Harrisburg, one brother, Stewart
Porter, III of Carlisle, paternal grandmother, Peggy Porter of Mechanicsburg, two nephews; Eric and Alex Porter and several
aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A
time for family and friends to gather for a visitation will held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be private. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Brad Porter Memorial Fund, C/O Members 1st, 5000 Louise Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA
17055.
