June A. Tate, 80, of Carlisle, died Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Forest Park Health Center in Carlisle.  She was born on May 23, 1933, in Perry County, a daughter of the late Casper P. and Minta (Bower) Lloyd, and the widow of Charles E. Tate, who died July 19, 2008.

June graduate from the former Green Park High School in Perry County.  She was a homemaker and had formerly worked for United Telephone Co., Dickinson College and the Bellaire Elementary School.  June was formerly active in the Carlisle Salvation Army.

She is survived by four sons; Wesley A. Tate of Carlisle, Brian K. Tate and Merl E. Tate, both of Mt. Holly Springs and Darryl P. Tate of Mechanicsburg, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Richard L. Warner officiating.  Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  A viewing will be on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
