JoHanna E. Wert, 78, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Carlisle, passed to eternal life on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.  She was born on Oct. 27, 1934, in Highspire, a daughter of the late Henning and Alice (Leidigh) Erickson, and was the widow of John H. Wert, who died Feb. 24, 1988.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Terri L. (and husband, Gordon) Kelly and Sandy L. (and husband, Ricky) Parks, both of Carlisle, one grandson, John Parks of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews.  JoHanna was predeceased by two brothers; Henning Erickson, Jr. and Francis Erickson and two sisters; June Hook and Jean Bensing.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the Faith Chapel, 1453 Holly Pike, Carlisle, with Pastor Michael Mayer officiating.  A viewing will be held on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until time of services at the church.  Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Ashland Cemetery, Carlisle.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Chapel.
