William A. Redcay, 87, of Newville, died
on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at his son, Glenn's home in Carlisle. He was born on Tuesday, February 2, 1926, in East Earl
Twp., Lancaster County, a son of the late Martin and Mattie Gayman (Aucker) Redcay. He was married to the late Edith N. (Gutshall)
Redcay, who died Feb. 6, 2004. Bill retired after 40 years of service with the former U-Wanna-Wash-Frock in Newville. Bill also was a driver
for the Amish and the team Mennonites for many years in the Newville area. He is survived by one daughter, Fay Horning of Lykens, five sons; Glenn W. Redcay of Carlisle,
Ray Redcay of Newburg, Jay Redcay of Carlisle, John Redcay of Carlisle and Paul Redcay of Newville, one step-brother, Elvis
Redcay of Pennsylvania, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by brothers;
Paul, Eli, Henry, Martin and Walter Redcay. Funeral
services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church, 720 Green
Spring Rd., Newville with Rev. Larry Strouse officiating. Private burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. Viewings
will be held on Tuesday, April 9, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made
to the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.

We are so sorry to hear of William's passing. He was a great person of the church that
did a lot for the young people, taking them to play in the band and making them feel wanted in the church by doing things
with them to hold their interest. May God be with the family at this time of loss.
