Roy C. "Pink" Seibert, Jr., 68, of Newville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Carlisle on July 7, 1944 and was the son of the late Roy "Whitey" and Geraldine "Frances" (Brownawell) Seibert.

Roy was a member of the White Circle Club and the Eagles, both of Carlisle, the American Legion in Mt. Holly Springs and the VFW in Newville. He enjoyed working on vehicles, tinkering, camping, country and gossip music and listening to Wayne Wheeler on the radio every Sunday. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Roy enjoyed being around people, was loved by all and would have done anything for anyone.

Roy is survived by his longtime companion, Linda Hosfelt of Shippensburg, two sons; William "Bill" (and companion, Chris) of Blairs Mills and Jeffrey "Jeff" (and wife, Tonya) of Newville, his daughter, Leonarda "Nina" Stryker (and husband, Rick) of Newville, four grandchildren; Lex Seibert of Blairs Mills, Allen Seibert of Lilly, Karla Reedy and Hailee Stryker, both of Newville, two brothers; Melvin Seibert (and wife, Maxine) and Steve Seibert (and companion, Pam), one sister, Margaret "Louise" Kelley (and husband, Walt), all of Newville, many nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his twin brothers; Larry and Garry Seibert and his sister, Pauline Picknally.

All are welcome to join Roy’s family at his viewing at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Homecare and Hospice, 220 Wilson St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
