
Walter Zolensky, 96, of Carlisle, died
on Sunday, February 10, 2013, in the Chapel Pointe Health Center, Carlisle. He was born on Saturday, April 15, 1916, in Acosta,
a son of the late Peter and Rose (Moskal) Zolensky. Walter was a US Army veteran of WWII. He retired from the General Electric Co. in King of
Prussia after nearly 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Indiana. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Mary E. (Grdish) Zolensky,
two sisters; Helen Attilio of Southgate, MI and Julia Switanek of Newport, MI, a daughter-in-law, Judy M. Zolensky (and her
husband, Roger Sturtz) of Carlisle, one granddaughter, Shana (and her husband, David) Morrow of York, one great-grandson,
Jackson Morrow and many nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by one son, Walter J. Zolensky, who died in 1996, four
brothers and two sisters. Private
services will be held in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Rev. William C. Forrey officiating. Private burial
will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
