
Vasiliki S. Katsifis, 91, of Carlisle,
died on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1921, in Mesokomi,
Evrytanias, Greece, a daughter of the late Nikolos and Eleni (Skouras) Karathanasis and was the widow of Stavros Katsifis,
who died June 4, 1987, Vasiliki
was a loving homemaker and a member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, Camp Hill. She is survived by five sons, John Katsifis and wife, Fani, George Katsifis,
Bill Katsifis and wife, Dorothy and Chris Katsifis and wife, Jo, all of Mechanicsburg and Nickolaos Katsifis and wife, Abby
of Carlisle, two daughters; Maria Georgakopoulas and husband, Louie of Knoxville, TN and Helen Kalathas and husband, John
of Chambersburg, three sisters; Maria Zagoritis and Tasia Karaisas, both of Greece and Irene Kolokithas of Mt. Holly Springs,
18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A
viewing will be held from 5 - 7:00 p.m on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive,
Camp Hill, PA 17011. A Trisagion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Agrinio, Greece.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
