Gladys L. Keller, 78, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born on Tuesday, January 1, 1935, in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Clark S. Barrick and Pearl E. (Renshaw) Barrick Malie.

Gladys retired from the former G. S. Electric Co., Carlisle with more than 10 years of service, and also worked at the former Carlisle Tire & Rubber Co. and C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle. She was a member of Opossum Hill Union Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, John H. Keller, four daughters; Joan M. Ellis of Mt. Holly Springs, Melodie J. Koe and her husband, Ron of Coulie Dam, WA, Lorie L. Rhoads and her husband, Daniel of Newville and Tina L. Thompson and her husband, Chris of Lowry, MO, one son, Wesley A. Richcreek and his wife, Marianna of Florida, one brother, Larry C. Barrick of Mechanicsburg, two sisters; Geraldine L. Minich of Carlisle and Geneva Martin of Newburg, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her first husband, Sylvan J. Richcreek, who died in 1996 and a son-in-law, David Ellis, who died in 2008.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Opossum Hill Union Church, 601 Opossum Lake Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015. The Rev. Randall L. Zook will officiate. A visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.
