Barbara J. Shultz, 64, of Carlisle, died
on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born on Thursday, April 15, 1948, in Gettysburg,
a daughter of the late Francis Fogle and Marie J. (Shultz) Marks. Barbara was a 1967 graduate of Northern High School, Dillsburg. She was formerly
employed with former Carlisle Hospital and the Cumberland County Nursing Home, Carlisle. She is survived by two daughters; Tina L. Shultz of Carlisle and Tammy O’Hara
(and husband, William) of Carlisle, one son, David Brown (and wife, Heidi) of Show Low, AZ, one brother, David Marks (and
wife, Doris) of Newville, two sisters; Martha Martyn of Carlisle and Helen Yohe (and husband, Elwood) of Newville, a brother-in-law,
Russell Yinger of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded
in death by one sister, Grace Yinger.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. in
the Carlisle First Church of the Brethren, 1340 Forge Rd., Carlisle, with Pastor Jeanette Jenkins officiating. A time of fellowship
will immediately follow the service at the church. Burial will be private at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or to Penn
