
Kathryn E. Fenton, 88, of Carlisle, died
on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on Thursday, January 31, 1924, in Carlisle,
a daughter of the late John M. and Blanche E. (Fulton) Clippinger and the widow of Frank W. Fenton, who died March 3, 2001. Kathryn was a 1941 graduate of Carlisle High School
and worked many years as an L.P.N. in several hospitals in the Orlando, Florida area. She was a member of Wesleyan Church
of The Cross in Carlisle. She is
survived by five sons; Robert E. Fenton of Carlisle, Donald A. Fenton of Clayton, NC, Carl L. Fenton of Alexandria, VA, Thomas
D. Fenton of Fitzgerald, GA and William R. Fenton of Winter Park, FL, two brothers; Harold L. Clippinger of New Cumberland
and James Mark Clippinger of Mt. Holly Springs, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by two brothers; John and Kenneth Clippinger. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Wesleyan Church
Of The Cross, 430 "B" St., Carlisle, with Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell officiating. A viewing will be at the church on
Monday from 1 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be held at a later date in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park,
FL. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesleyan Church
of The Cross.
