 Dorothy S. Braught, 103, of Carlisle, died
on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born on Saturday, May 8, 1909, in Mechanicsburg,
a daughter of the late Milton C. and Sarah (Albert) Souder and was the widow of Harold J. Braught, who died Sept. 30, 1996. Dorothy was a 1927 graduate of Carlisle High School.
She was a loving homemaker and worked as a seamstress in her home. She was a longtime member of First United Church of Christ,
Carlisle. Dorothy enjoyed flower gardening. She
is survived by one daughter, Annette M. Braught of New Cumberland, three grandchildren; Debra Hershey of Wormleysburg, David
Hefflefinger (and wife, Wendy) of Hummelstown and Darryl Hefflefinger (and wife, Jill) of Warwick, RI, four great-grandchildren
and two step great-grandchildren. A
graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Rd.,
Carlisle, with Rev. Lynn R. Schultz officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials
