Christine A. "Chrissy" Noreika, 60, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at her home with family by her side. She was born on Sunday, July 13, 1952, in Peckville, a daughter of the late Leonard and Irene (Tokarczyk) Gellak.

Chrissy was a 1970 graduate of Valley View High School in Archbald. She was employed for the past 13 years as a patient coordinator with Apicella - Lorei Orthodontics, Carlisle. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. Chrissy’s favorite activities were vacations at the beach, her grandchildren and the bond she shared with her three sisters that will never be broken - C + S + D + M = 4 STRONG.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Albert J. "Al" Noreika, two sons; David A. Noreika (and wife, Shelley) of Newville and Jeffrey L. Noreika (and wife, Angela) of Shippensburg, three sisters; Susan Patchcoski of Tunkhannock, Diane Scott of Mechanicsburg and Mary Ann Coccodrilli of Hagerstown, three granddaughters; Katie Marie Noreika of Newville and Laney Kay Noreika and Maylei Ann Noreika, both of Shippensburg and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle, with Rev. Dwight D. Schlaline officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s New Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 - 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle and where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Healthcare of Harrisburg, 4660 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Chris at the Financail Trust Corp. Operation Center many years ago. She was a wonderful co-worker and always talked highly of her family.
