
Margaret M. Noel, 81, of Carlisle, passed
away on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on Thursday, March 12, 1931, in Spring Twp., Perry
County, and was a daughter of the late Richard W. and Jennie C. (Kiner) Hull, and was the widow of James M. Noel, who died
Dec. 13, 1994. Margaret received her GED in 1974 and retired from the former Book of the Month Club, Mechanicsburg,
after many years of service. She most recently attended Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, Carlisle. She attended
Messiah Lifeways at Carlisle Brethren Christ Church and formerly enjoyed crafts, needlework and walking. She is survived by two daughters; Darlene C. McCabe and husband, John of Landisburg
and Kandy M. Hurley and husband, Richard of Chalfont, two sons; Dale R. Hockenberry and wife, Sophie of Shermansdale and Kim
E. Hockenberry and wife, Shirley of Carlisle, grandchildren; James Hockenberry, Jennifer Garcia, Tina Wheeler, Nicole Weaver,
Matthew Hurley, Courtney Schmechel, Dustin Hockenberry and Lillie Baum, a daughter-in-law, Ella Hockenberry of Carlisle, many
step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Larry V. Hockenberry, four brothers; Theodore,
Richard, Robert and Ray Hull and two sisters; Betty Etter and Esther Kistler. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Trevor Lightner officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland
Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

I cannot begin to share my thoughts
& feelings on my dear Margaret! She brought such joy & life to the Adult Day in Carlisle when I was coordinator for
5 years. I shall miss her smile, her cute sense of humor but most of all her love of the Lord. Praise our Lord that she is
