Gloria F. Palm, 78, of Mechanicsburg and
Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at M. S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, March 24, 1934,
in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Lee and Alma (Heishman) Cameron. Gloria was a homemaker and was of the Brethren faith. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Harry J. Palm, one son, Morris H.
"Butch" Metzger, Jr., of Mechanicsburg, three daughters; Sharon L. Griffie of Carlisle, Maryann Yohn of Harrisburg
and Cynthia S. Fisher of Carlisle, one sister, Ruth Sheaffer of Carlisle, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband, Morris H. "Pete" Metzger, Sr., who died Oct.
14, 1979, one daughter, Dixie Berkheimer, five brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers
Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Amy L. Moreno officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial
Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
