
Clyde I. Salisbury, 76, of Carlisle, passed
away Sunday, May 6, 2012, at his home. He was born on Saturday, November 2, 1935, in Cumberland County, a son of the late
Lloyd R. and Edna (Piper) Salisbury. Clyde retired from L. B. Smith, Inc., in Camp Hill after 34 years of service and had also worked for Cumberland
Builders and the former Piezo Crystal Co. He was a member of Carlisle Eagles Aerie 1299 and the I. A. M. Union for many years.
Clyde enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He
is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Shirley I. (Deitz) Salisbury, one son, Clyde E. (and his wife, Carole)
Salisbury of Carlisle, two daughters; Jane I. (and her husband, Danny) Negley of Loysville and Cindy K. Stephens of Shiremanstown,
12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Clyde was preceded in death by three brothers and one
sister. Funeral services will be
held on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tony
Tarole officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10 a.m.
until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Church of Christ, 971 Walnut Bottom Rd. Carlisle, PA
17013.

Sorry to here about Uncle Clyde. He was one of the funniest uncles
ever. He always was joking about something, and knew how to have a good time. Sorry we will not be able to make the funeral.
Mom will also not be able to make it, she is home sick. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We love you Aunt
