Emmett Dwight Kaltenbaugh, 67, of Newville,
passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill. He was born on Thursday, March 15, 1945,
in Petersburg, WV, a son of the late Jack Wayne Kaltenbaugh and Wanda E. (Henry) Kaltenbaugh. Emmett was a 1964 graduate of Carlisle High School
and had worked for the former Kinney Shoe Corp., Carlisle, for many years. Emmett served in the PA National Guard
from 1965 to 1971. He was a member of the Christian Life Community Church, Newville and a life member of Friendship Hose
Co. No. 47, Newville. He is survived
by two brothers; Carson W. Kaltenbaugh and Jackie A. Kaltenbaugh, one sister, Roxie G. Bittinger, two nephews; James T. Bittinger,
Jr. and Harlan R. Bittinger and one great-nephew, Dustin M. Bittinger, all of Newville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Steven Gibb officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland
Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be on Sunday from 2 - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made to American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Rd., Lemoyne, PA 17043.
