

Leonard F. Morda, 86, of Boiling Springs,
passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at his home. He was born on Thursday, May 21, 1925, in Ford City, a son of the late
Kauzimio and Pauline (Ivonovicz) Morda. Leonard was a 1943 graduate of Ford City High School and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He retired
after 40 years of service as a mechanic with PPG Industries in Carlisle. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle.
Leonard enjoyed woodworking and model railroading. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Isabelle V. (Papciak) Morda, two sons; Joseph S.
Morda (and wife, Sheila) and Richard A. Morda (and wife, Jennifer), both of Carlisle, one brother, Jerome Morda of Germantown,
MD, one sister, Joan Morda of Ford City, three grandchildren; Danielle Morda, Miranda Chaplinski and Dominic Morda and several
special nieces, nephews and cousins. Leonard was preceded in death by two sisters; Irene and Loretta Morda. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at
10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle, with Rev. Dwight D. Schlaline officiating. Burial with
military honors by Cumberland County Honor Guard will be in St. Patrick New Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle. Viewing will be on
Tuesday from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, where a prayer service will
be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 152 E. Pomfret St., Carlisle, PA 17013.

Leonard was a very special person and we will miss him. We wish we could be with Isabelle
and the family at this time. They know our prayers are with them.
