
Anna Mae Jumper, 71, of Carlisle, passed
away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on Wednesday, November 6, 1940,
in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Charles Albert Sampson and Kathryn (Brehm) Sampson.
Annie worked as a clerk for many years at Goodwill Industries
in Carlisle. She also had worked at the former Troy Laundry and the Towne Tavern, both of Carlisle. She enjoyed yard sales,
auctions, flower gardening and most of all her children and family. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 53 years, Wilmot D. Jumper, Sr., two sons;
Wilmot D. Jr. (and wife, Lynn) of Bloserville and Jeffrey A. (and wife, Anne) of Carlisle, three daughters; Julie A. Lawyer,
Jerri L. Fisher (and husband, Steven) and Kelly S. Hamilton (and husband, William), all of Carlisle, five brothers; Harry,
Harvey, Robert, Arthur and Paul Sampson, four sisters; Martha Griffie, Darlene Uplinger, Mary Jane Horn and Barbara Sampson,
11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by three brothers; Clinton,
Kenneth and Charles Sampson and four sisters; Kathryn Greene, Shirley Gibson, Irene Sampson and Betty Sampson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs
Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of the service. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions
may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
