
Marlin E. "Marty" Brownewell,
II, 41, of Carlisle, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Harrisburg Hospital with family by his side.
He was born September 17, 1970, in Carlisle and was the son of Marlin E. Brownewell and his wife, Deborah of Carlisle and
Judith A. (Reedinger) Brownewell of Gardners. He is survived by one daughter, Emily Brownewell and one son, Ashton Brownewell, one granddaughter,
Elliyona Brownewell, of whom he was proud, three sisters; Wendy and her husband, Skip Thissen of Shippensburg, Lisa and her
husband, Darryl Ferrel of Carlisle and Brenda and her husband, Mark Starner of Gardners, three nieces, four nephews, four
great-nieces and six great-nephews. Marty was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 7:30 p.m.
in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle. Rev. Richard A. Black, Sr. will officiate. Viewing will be from 6
p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to the Ashton Brownewell Trust Fund, c/o Judith Brownewell, 777 Baltimore Pike, Gardners, PA 17324 and will be administered
by the PNC Bank in Mt. Holly Springs.
