Jeanne A. Anderson, 88, formerly of One West Penn St., Carlisle, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on Thursday, April 19, 1923, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late John B. and Elizabeth I. (Felix) Bott and the widow of Charles W. Anderson, who died Jan. 2, 2003.

Jeanne was a loving homemaker, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Kingstown and the Railroad Retirees of Pennsylvania.

She is survived by four sons; Terry (and his wife, Darlene) Anderson of Wellsville, Timothy (and his wife, Donna) Anderson of Dillsburg, Michael (and his wife, Linda) Anderson of Boiling Springs and John (and his wife, Diane) Anderson of Carlisle, one daughter, Gail Oliver of Port Richey, FL, 13 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Ritter.

Services and burial will be private. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Healthcare of Carlisle, Suite 100, 220 Wilson St., Carlisle, PA 17013.

 Jeanne was a wonderful person and a delight to visit.
She certainly lived life to the fullest. I will miss her.
