

John B. Keck, 88, of Carlisle, passed away
Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. He was born Thursday, August 30, 1923, in Carlisle, a son
of the late Harry J. and Blanche (Bloser) Keck. John was US Army veteran of WWII and had worked for the former Frank Black, Inc., Carlisle
for more than 20 years. In 1988, he retired from the H. B. McClure Co. in Harrisburg after 12 years of service. He was a member
of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 520, Harrisburg for 40 years. John was a longtime member of Carlisle First Church of God, where he served in many capacities,
including President and Secretary of the Mens Bible Class, Deacon and Elder of Church Council, head usher for many years,
head of the church grounds committee and was also active with the bus ministry. John enjoyed making crafts, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Sara J. (King) Keck,
two daughters; Ronda S. (and her husband, David) Rudy of Seminole, FL and Lucinda J. "Cindy" (and her husband, Dick)
Warner of Boiling Springs, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. John was preceded
in death by one brother, Daniel Keck and one sister, Sarah Gayman. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers
Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. D. Alan Mathna officiating. Burial will be private in the Waggoners
United Methodist Church Cemetery, Carlisle. Viewing will be on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services. Memorial contributions
