Minnie Frances Wimer, 91, of Carlisle and
formerly of York, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012, at home. She was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1920, in Swope,
Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Fannie (Newlan) Wimer. She was one of thirteen children. Frances graduated from Staunton High School in
Virginia and retired from the Dalco Industries in York after many years of service. She is survived by two sisters; Genevieve Yohn of New Kingstown and Maude Davenport
of Corbin, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews, including Judy L. Minnich, with whom she lived. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, in
the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Pastor Tim Wheeler will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect
Hill Cemetery, York. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
