 Dear Grace ("Gracie")
We like our nickname for you. You Always laughed when we called you "Gracie".
We are sorry we couldn't be there with you to hold your hand when you entered the gates of heaven. We will always treasure the few weeks and the day before, that we spent time with you. We held your hand, told you we loved you,and kissed you goodbye. We know you heard us,even though you didn't respond. We will always have the photos, family movies and beautiful memories of us together during the holidays, special occasions and all the birthdays with our families, one special time we will always remember is all of the fun we had with you at Donald's wedding reception. Donald escorted you to the dance floor, you really enjoyed dancing with him. Both of you were laughing so much that everyone was clapping for you to dance more. Donald enjoyed it also. He gave you a kiss on the cheek and thanked you,and escorted you back to your table. Another time the family will always remember and miss is at Christmas when you and Sis would make your famous, delicious homemade chocolate peanut butter fudge. Sis and you made it in your apartment in Carlisle. Our family would all receive a Christmas tin full of that fabulous fudge. It was the best fudge ever.  We also had fun times taking you out to eat and shopping at K-mart,Bon-Ton,the grocery store and O! Yes! Shirley's dress shop,O!! My!! Were you ever so fussy about those dresses.  You had a really good sense of humor which we all loved. The grandchildren and great grandchildren loved you and will miss you. You were so proud of them and looked forward to their visits. We know you had a lot of love for them, also.  Another funny thing that we remember about our visits with you at Thornwald, was all of the snacks you kept in your dresser drawers. We would bring you more and you would laugh and say where will I put them? The drawers looked full, but you would find a place for them. You always shared them with the residents, nursing staff and your visitors.  You had some bad times in your life, which made you very sad,but we were always there to comfort you with our visits and phone calls. Some human beings need to be forgiven, but god knew you were a very special, thoughtful, loving person and could never hurt anyone. You are at peace now with your lord,in a much better place where you'll have no worries, disappointments or sadness.  May god bless your friends,Linda and Sam for their frequent visits and gifts, you always looked forward to seeing them. We will always remember you,and you will be in our hearts forever. may you find comfort in the arms of an angel.
God Bless.
Love,
